My name is Felicidad Fraser-Solak, and I am a proud LCSW who would love the opportunity to serve YOU, constituents, colleagues, and peers in our social work community, as the President for the NASW-CO chapter. I currently work as an outpatient therapist for a community mental health center, and have been actively working in the community for the past 7 years. My love of this profession is underscored by all, and surpassed by none. My personal focus is to ensure that Social Workers are duly supported, as they put forth so much of who they are, helping others to help themselves. I am an LCSW with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work and a licensed School Social Worker. I am a multiculturally competent counselor. My expertise is in separating the person from the problem, identifying strengths and finding resources to facilitate wanted change.

Hello NASW-Colorado members!
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has lived in Colorado since 2012. I received a BS in Sociology from Central Michigan University in the early 2000s.  After taking a year off, I attended the University of Michigan and completed a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in interpersonal practice and mental health. Shortly after graduating with my MSW, I decided I wanted to continue learning more about social work in the VA and completed a post-graduate fellowship in psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery for severe mental illness through the Veterans’ Administration Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut and the Yale School of Medicine. Currently, In May 2018, I graduated with my Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University - New Brunswick. I have had the privilege of serving as a co- NASW-CO Denver Region Representative for the past four years and look forward to continue serving these next couple of years in the capacity of Vice President.
