Changes to DORA Rules
Record Keeping & Other Rules - In December 2011 significant changes were made to the Board of Social Work Rules that LSWs and LCSWs must follow. Many rules were revamped so be sure to be familiar with them all. Start with an overview of the highlights provided by the Chapter.
Mandatory Disclosure - In May 2011 changes made to our licensing statute, the Mental Health Practice Act, required changes to Mandatory Disclosure by LCSWs and LSWs. It is critical that you understand these changes and incorporate them into your practice if applicable. See a detailed explanation in the members only section of the website.

EAPrefer Launched in Colorado
EAPrefer™ is an exciting new benefit – solely for NASW members - that puts your expertise and experience as social workers to use as Employee Assistance Professionals. Members have the opportunity to receive referrals from EAP network providers through a program that allows them to easily match qualified social workers with clients in need.
