The New Social Worker - The New Social Worker is published quarterly and is geared toward social work students and recent graduates, but contains a wide range of information of interest to all social workers.

For Social Work Practitioners

Colorado Mental Health Licensing Section - Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) regulates social work licenses and handles grievances through the Board of Social Work Examiners.  The Board has statutory authority to license and discipline social workers.  The Board is made up of three (3) licensed/professional members and four (4) public and/or consumer members.    

ASWB - The Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) is the association of boards that regulate social work. ASWB develops and maintains the social work licensing examination used across the country, and is a central resource for information on the legal regulation of social work. ASWB is available to help individual social workers and social work students with questions they may have about licensing and the social work examinations.

Council on Social Work Education The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) provides national leadership and a forum for collective action designed to ensure the preparation of competent social work professionals. CSWE's main responsibility is to promote and maintain the quality of socialwork education
